[PHOTO BLOG] The opportunity that comes from unexpected situations

Remember the new painting I found to grace our entrance? (Take a look at my last BLOG if not!) Here it is below...

When I hung it up. it reflected the glare from the sliding doors in our dining room--and made it virtually impossible to see the image. Bummer.

That inspired a rotation of our large artwork into new and wonderful places that both enhance the Feng Shui and look and feel great. I hung our one piece that does not have glass in front of it in the entrance, so there is no glare to contend with. This large square painting has plenty of Water energy in it (blues & blacks) to help support the Career & Journey area where it resides (see below).

Entrance before was feeling majorly CLUTTERED & disjointed!

Entrance after is more spacious & open, with ONE solid focal point rather than many.

When that large painting moved out of our dining room, I was able to replace it with a piece that feels more to scale. it also feels more fitting for the space and looks fantastic against the earthen brick-tone wall.

Dining room with the original painting that I adore. The image has a triangular mountain shape that enhances the 3 pointed Fire energy of the External Recognition area where it now lives.

Moving the wooden framed watercolor into the dining room, made space in the entry way for the new image of the whales. It's water energy enhances the Career & Journey area of our home (as does the water fountain!).

So much Water represented (in image and color), the energy that is best in this Career & Journey area of our home.

Below is the Bagua Map placed over the main level of our floorplan. You can see the Career & Journey area where our front door is and the Fame & External Recognition area that is our dining room and covered back porch.

I love the ideas, the potential, the opportunity that arises when things do not go exactly as planned. Shifting these 3 paintings between the Career & Journey area and the Fame & External Recognition area created a synergy between these opposing areas (that are intimately interconnected).

In order to be successful on your path in life, you must be recognized for your strengths.

Intentionally shifting these two areas is a powerful way to bolster the energies that support you in your life's work.

In fact, the day after we shifted these paintings, I had a series of boons in my business. Growing tribe, new exposure, so much appreciation for the work I offer, incredibly successful coaching session, it was amazing how the wins kept on flowing in, without me DOING anything different in my work day.

When you are ready to begin to live intentionally in your home and create spaces that support the shifts you're looking for in your life, drop me a line (tenaya@tpkfengshui.com) and we'll find a time to connect on the phone to see if the work I do can help you realize your dreams more quickly and gracefully. The time is now.

Here's to supportive spaces,

:) Tenaya
